Foundation House finalist in Early Years Awards 2018

20 August 2018

Foundation House’s Early Years team has been shortlisted for the State Government’s Victorian Early Years Awards 2018 . The Awards celebrate the exceptional contributions that individuals and organisations make to improving the learning and development of young children and their families.

Nominated in the Creating Collaborative Community Partnerships category, the Early Years team has worked in partnership over two years with Hume City Council and 10 early years agencies in Craigieburn. The work has aimed to increase access and participation in early years programs for young children and their families from refugee backgrounds. The project has resulted in changed practices, the development of new resources and increased cooperation and partnerships in early years services in Craigieburn.

The Victorian Early Years Awards 2018  ceremony will take place on Tuesday 23 October at the National Gallery of Victoria. The Hon. Jenny Mikakos MP, Minister for Early Childhood Education, will announce the winners.

We look forward to updating you on the results.
