Foundation House CEO, Paris Aristotle AO was interviewed this morning on ABC Radio National’s RN Breakfast   program.

Paris spoke to Cathy Van Extel about a range of topics including challenges to securing the protection of the human rights of refugees and asylum seekers in Australia in the lead up to the 2nd Australia and New Zealand Refugee Trauma Recovery in Resettlement Conference in Brisbane, which officially begins today.

Paris will present a paper on this subject at the Conference this morning. He will then join the panel discussion, Healing and Human Rights: from philosophy to practice, alongside:

  • Raimond Gaita (Professorial Fellow at Melbourne Law School and Faculty of Arts, The University of Melbourne)
  • Dr Vikki Reynolds (Activist/therapist, Canada)
  • Robert Mukombozi (Community Development Worker, QPASTT )

The panel discussion is expected to be broadcast on ABC Radio National’s Big Ideas program in May 2019.
