Ensuring research activities involving Foundation House staff, clients and external partnerships are conducted ethically and comply with internal guidelines and national standards
The Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) is an independent body that assesses and monitors research conducted by Foundation House staff and external researchers, which involves Foundation House clients and staff as participants.
The IEC is registered with the National Medical Health and Research Council (NHMRC) and functions in accordance with the NHMRC’s National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research
